As such, the purchase and sale of residential and commercial real estate requires knowledge of the complexities of landowner and property rights in New York.

Purchases/Sales

When representing purchasers and sellers of real estate, McKinley Onua will perform the following services:

  • Review and negotiate purchase and sales contracts
  • Explain financing agreements
  • Seek loan and title commitments
  • Conduct lien searches
  • Provide Attorney Opinion Letters for the Lender (commercial)
  • Resolve any issues (including tenant issues, title problems, repairs, etc.) prior to closing
  • Verify all charges for the transaction
  • Attend the closing
  • Create a closing packet
  • Address any of the buyer’s questions and concerns
