Ben

Ben is an associate at McKinley Onua & Associates.  He practices real estate and employment law.  Ben graduated cum laude in political science, with a concentration in global and international affairs from SUNY Binghamton.  He then attended Cardozo School of Law and graduated in June 2020.

Ben gained invaluable experience in real estate practice when he interned for Judge Diccia Pineda-Kirwan, where he provided recommendations to the judge on deciding motions for foreclosure cases, including default judgments, summary judgment, and “possession of note” motions.  Ben also interned for Judge Gerald Lebovits and worked on contract and property disputes.

He gained experience in employment law while at the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of New York, Alternative Dispute Resolution Department, where he observed mediations in wage and hour cases. He later worked as a mediator in Manhattan and Brooklyn Small Claims Court.  Ben also worked on wage and hour cases at John Troy Law PLLC.

Ben was admitted to practice law in New York State in March 2021.
